Nike Pays Tribute  with Special Edition Footwear Worn By Top MLB Players

As part of Major League Baseball’s annual “Jackie Robinson Day” tribute, several Nike baseball athletes will take to the diamond in a uniquely designed cleat that features an engraving of Robinson’s iconic image sliding into home plate as well as his number ‘42’ stitched on each heel.  The footwear is a specially designed iteration of Ken Griffey, Jr.’s signature ‘Swingman’ cleated product.  A non-cleated, turf version of the shoe will be available at selected retail outlets beginning May 1, 2009.

    These are the Nike Air Swingman Remix. I’m not sure you can find the exact colorway as these pictured. But you should be able to find them on Nike.com if they still have them available.
